I had a great experience at Firestone on Dixwell Avenue in Hamden. I came in worried about an oil pressure issue, and Zach at the front desk was professional, patient, and explained everything clearly. I was a little apprehensive at first, but he was right about the issue and they were able to fix my car. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. Thank you, Zach and the Firestone team!

Honest, quick, and reliable. They always provide me with the maintenance information my vehicle needs, and let me make the decision. I have been going to this location for 8 plus years, over 4 vehicles, and over 25 services repairs. Could not recommend them enough.

I set an appointment for a replacement tire after a blowout. The service was amazing. The representatives were polite and very detailed. My service time was a lot faster than I anticipated. I was there 45 minutes.

I did go in on a Thursday but due to them being short staffed was asked to come back another day. I made appointment for Monday due to my schedule. Customer service was great both times. On Monday I explained my needs as I had a couple other things going on with my car besides the oil change and headlights. I was told nothing was wrong with the headlights other than the coating from years of use so it wasn’t anything they could do and that he couldn’t find the windshield washer fluid holder/compartment anywhere at this time as my fluid was leaking out as it was filled. I did know this but did forget to mention to him. Overall I was satisfied with the service as I was kept in the loop of everything.

I've been a customer since 2021 (Orange and Hamden locations). Every time I've come in for car maintenance, the staff are polite, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. Maintenance is always completed quickly, and I can count on having my car ready for pick up the same day. I've been concerned about being up charged at garages--but I've always felt confident that I'd never be taken advantage of here. Transparent pricing, and when they recommend additional work, they call to confirm additional charges. I've never felt they recommended something that wasn't necessary. I deeply trust the mechanics--I was concerned about the safety of my tires after having to reschedule my Wednesday appointment to Saturday. But the service representative was willing to assess the my tires and reassure me my car would be safe to drive until the Saturday appointment, for which I was deeply grateful. I refuse to go to a different garage!
